Digitalis stewartiiThis tall perennial species foxglove has become much more widely available in retail specialist plant nurseries both in the UK, Europe and North America in the last year or two. The stems are covered with large-lipped, dark-veined orange flowers during late July and August and grows to 6ft tall. The foliage rosette is leathery and evergreen dn in areas of the world with cool summers, it prefers full sun and decent drainage, but in hotter areas it may need some shade. An excellent 'new' plant for the garden.
